Sent Meard de Moissídan [1] o Sent Mierd de Moissídan[2] ['ʂɛm'mjɛrdɛmwɛj'ʂidɒ] (Saint-Médard-de-Mussidan en francés) es una comuna d'Occitània dins la region istorica de Perigòrd, administrada per lo departament de Dordonha de la region de Novela Aquitània, ancianament d'Aquitània.

Toponimia
La prononciacion es [ʂɛ̃m’mjær] [demwɛj’ʂidɒ][1]. Las fòrmas ancianas son Sanctus Medardus de Limul (Limuèlh), en latin, en 1117, Sanctus Medardus de Limolio, prope Moyssidanum, en latin, en 1455, Saint Médard de Limeul en 1612[3]. Lo nom dau sent es Medardus (456 - 8 de junh 545), evesque de Noyon en Picardia (França), dont lo nom ven dau germanic Math-hard[3],[4],[1].
