Sent Tria (escrich anteriorament Sent Trían) (Sainte-Trie en francés) es una comuna d'Occitània, benleu [1]dins la region istorica de Perigòrd, administrada per lo departament de Dordonha de la region de Novela Aquitània, ancianament d'Aquitània.
Geografia
Toponimia
La prononciacion es [ʂɛ̃n’trijɒ][2]. Lo nom es atestat Ecclesia Sancti Trojani, en latin, sens data[3]. Troianus, en latin « abitant de Tròia », es un evesque de Sentas au segle VI. L'evolucion fonetica seriá *Troja(n) > *Troja (reculament de l'accent tonic) > *Truia[3],[4],[2] (mas Chantal Tanet e Tristan Hordé an besonh dau francés per explicar la seguda; en realitat la confusion de u, vocala barrada, emb la mieg consonanta barrada i es pas malaisada).
