Lemzor (Lempzours en francés) es una comuna d'Occitània, dins la region istorica de Perigòrd, administrada per lo departament de Dordonha de la region de Novela Aquitània, ancianament d'Aquitània.
Geografia
Toponimia
La prononciacion es [lɪm’ʐur][1]. Las fòrmas ancianas son Lempzor, au segle XIII, Lemsor (sens data), Lempzorium, en latin, en 1365, Ecclesia de Lempzac (sens data)[2],[3]. Lo nom es escur per Dauzat[4]. Chantal Tanet e Tristan Hordé, sens certitud, i vesen l'occitan linjoira, « lista, benda de terra », derivat de linge (dau latin vulgar *linicus, derivat dau latin classic linea, « linha »)[2]. Lo site de las comunas de Dordonha accepta linjoira, que definís coma « broa, oriera, bordadura, orladura » o chausís sens certitud lo latin limites, « limita, frontiera »; lo nom demòra escur[1].
