Toponimia
La prononciacion es [lɛ̃m’bra] [1]. Las fòrmas ancianas son Lembras au sègle XIII, Lembraco en 1373 [2],[3]. Lembrac ven d'un nom gallic d'òme, Lambrus emb lo sufixe -acum [2],[1], o Lamprus, « nom de persona galloroman sigut de -acum, plan atestat en Itàlia » ! (Chantal Tanet e Tristan Hordé) [3]. Cap toponimista explica pas lo passatge de la vocala a de la primièra sillaba dels etimes en e.
