La prononciacion es [ʂɪnʂibrɒ’ne] [1]. Las fòrmas ancianas son Saint Cyprianet en 1489, Sanctus Cyprianetus, en latin, en 1556, Le Prieur de Saint Cibran en 1560, Saint Sibranet en 1688, Saint Sipranet en 1744 [2]. Sent Cibranet es lo diminutiu de Sent Cibra [2],[3],[1].
