Dauzat qu'explica Busiet per lo « provençau » buza/boza e doble sufixe -in -ellum [3].
Segon Miquèu Grosclaude, Busiet qu'ei lo diminutiu de Busi (véder aqueth article). Lo prumèr sufixe ei pas -in, deu latin -inum e lo segond ei pas -ellum (la prononciacion [-et] e non pas [-ɛtʃ] que mia au sufixe diminutiu -et, deu latin -ittum). [2].
