Abaswara

Abaswara (Dewanagari: आभास्वर; ,IAST: Ābhāsvara, आभास्वर) adalah kelompok dewa yang tercatat dalam pustaka Purana agama Hindu. Mereka berjumlah 64,[1] dan dinyatakan sebagai personifikasi dari kualitas mental, berperan sebagai yang paling utama dari seluruh jenis pencerahan spiritual maupun fisik.[2] Abaswara merupakan pengabdi Siwa, Ganesa, dan Bayu. Mereka tinggal di puncak Ganaparwata, letaknya di Kailasa.[3]

Dua belas Abaswara yang utama, yakni:[4]

  1. Atma (Ātmā)
  2. Jnyata (Jñātā)
  3. Dama
  4. Danta (Dānta)
  5. Santi (Śānti)
  6. Jnyana (Jñāna)
  7. Sama
  8. Tapas
  9. Kama (Kāma)
  10. Kroda (Krodha)
  11. Mada
  12. Moha
