Localisacion
Lo mser es d'en primièr parlat dins l'arrondiment de Kousséri, dins lo departament de Logone-Chari, qu'es restacat a la region de l'Extrèm-Nòrd[2].
Classificacion
Lo mser es una lenga chadica classada per Gravina (2014) dins la branca biu-mandara, ont fa partida del grop kotoko central amb lo lagwan[3].
