Localisacion
Lo mpade es d'en primièr parlat dins e a l'entorn de la vila de Makary, dins lo departament de Logone-Chari, qu'es restacat a la region de l'Extrèm-Nòrd. Unes locutors vivon de l'aute costat de la frontièra, en Chad[2].
Classificacion
Lo mpade es una lenga chadica classada per Gravina (2014) dins la branca biu-mandara, ont fa partida del grop kotoko del nòrd-mosgom[3].
