Localisacion
Lo glavda es parlat dins la zòna de govèrn local de Gwoza, que fa partida de l'estat nigerian de Borno. La lenga s'espandís de l'autre costat de la frontièra, en Cameron, ont es parlada dins dos vilatges de la sosprefectura de Koza del departament de Mayo-Tsanaga, restacat a la region Extrèm-Nòrd[1].
Classificacion
Lo glavda es una lenga chadica classada per Gravina (2014) dins la branca nòrd del biu-mandara, ont fa partida del grop mandara[2].
