Historio
La unua mencio pri la vilaĝo devenis de 1336. En 1910 loĝis en Gézsény 676 da homoj, (574 slovakoj, 66 hungaroj, 1 ruteno). Ĝis Traktato de Trianon Gézsény apartenis al Hungara Reĝlando, al Ung, al distrikto de Szobránc, poste al Ĉeĥoslovakio, fine dum la 2-a mondmilito kaj ekde 1993 al Slovakio. En 2001 loĝis en Hažín 446 da homoj, (424 slovakoj).
