Situo
Kristy situas sur ebenaĵo, laŭ flankovojoj, aŭtoŝoseo preteriras. Sobrance troviĝas 8 km-ojn.
Historio
La unua mencio pri la vilaĝo devenis de 1333. En 1910 loĝis en Kereszt 396 da homoj, (354 slovakoj, 18 germanoj, 17 hungaroj). Ĝis Traktato de Trianon Kereszt apartenis al Hungara Reĝlando, al Ung, al distrikto de Szobránc, poste al Ĉeĥoslovakio, fine ekde 1993 al Slovakio. Dum unua disfalo de Ĉeĥoslovakio en 1939 la hungara armeo okupis tiean zonon loĝatan de ankaŭ rutenoj. Tiu loko estis parto de aŭtonomio rutena kune kun iama Karpata Ukrainio. Tio apartenis al Hungario ĝis apero de Ruĝa Armeo fine de 1944. Komence de 1944 la judo deportiĝis. En 2001 loĝis en Kristy 283 da homoj, (278 slovakoj, 4 ĉeĥoj, unusola ukraino).
