Ο NGC 4100 είναι σπειροειδής γαλαξίας στον αστερισμό Μεγάλη Άρκτο. Ανακαλύφθηκε από τον αστρονόμο Ουίλιαμ Χέρσελ (William Herschel) στις 9 Μαρτίου 1788[5] και ανήκει στην Ομάδα γαλαξιών NGC 3992 του Σμήνους της Μεγάλης Άρκτου.[4]
