Ο NGC 109 είναι ραβδωτός σπειροειδής γαλαξίας τύπου SB0(r)/a ο οποίος βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Ανδρομέδα. Απέχει περίπου 240 εκατομμύρια έτη φωτός από την Γη και έχει διάμετρο της τάξεως των 80.000 ετών φωτός.[4].

Τον ανακάλυψε ο αστρονόμος Χάινριχ ντ' Αρέ (Heinrich Ludwig d'Arrest) στις 8 Οκτωβρίου 1861.[5]
