Ο NGC 10 είναι σπειροειδής γαλαξίας ο οποίος βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Γλύπτη. Ανακαλύφθηκε από τον αστρονόμο Τζον Χέρσελ (John Herschel) στις 25 Σεπτεμβρίου 1834.[8] Απέχει 346 έτη φωτός από τον Ήλιο[3] και ταξινομείται ως SAB(rs)bc σύμφωνα με το σύστημα ντε Βοκουλέρ.[4] Ο Paturel et al. (2003) από την άλλη τον ταξινομεί ως SBbc, δηλαδή ως ραβδωτό σπειροειδή γαλαξία.[5]

Υπερκαινοφανής

Στις 22 Δεκεμβρίου 2011 ο Στιούαρτ Πάρκερ (Stuart Parker) παρατηρώντας από τη Νέα Ζηλανδία ανακάλυψε υπερκαινοφανή Τύπου ΙΙ που ονομάστηκε SN 2011jo. Εντοπίστηκε 2″ ανατολικά και 16″ βόρεια από τον γαλαξιακό πυρήνα.[9]
