Windows 8 es la version del sistèma operatiu Windows multiplatafòrma qu'es comercialisada dempuèi lo 26 d'octobre de 2012[1]. Ben que lo sistèma s'apela Windows 8, s'agís de la version NT 6.2, la primièra version de Windows NT 6 essent Windows Vista (NT 6.0). La version Windows 8.1 (version 6.3) es una mesa a jorn gratuita de Windows 8 qu'es disponible dempuèi lo 17 d'octobre 2013. Son successor es Windows 10, sortit en julhet de 2015.
