Esclanha[1],[2],[3],[4] (Esclagne en francés) es una comuna lengadociana situada dins lo departament d'Arièja e la region d'Occitània, ancianament de Miègjorn-Pirenèus.
Geografia
Toponimia
Esclanha vendriá del latin *aesculanea, derivat d'*aesculanus (adjectius inatestats, coma l'asterisc o ensenha), diminutiu del nom aesculus, equivalent de robur « roire, rove, ròire », arbre consacrat a Jupitèr [5],[6].
Istòria
Abans la revolucion, Esclanha èra pas parròquia nimai annèxa.
