Adriers: Las atestacions ancianas son Vicaria Edrinsis en 927, vicaria Edrarinsis en 942, de Adrerio en 1185, Adrier (sens data), Adrer en 1383, de Adreyo en 1478, Adriers en 1668[2].
Lo nom dau vilatge proven d'un antroponim germanic "Adre (Aderic)" seguit dau sufixe "- arium", significant "lo domeni d'Aderic". Lo sufixe latin de proprietat es devengut au cors daus temps "-ec" puei "-é" o "ier" [3].
