Ο NGC 7837 είναι σπειροειδής γαλαξίας[3][4] ο οποίος απέχει περίπου 470 εκατομμύρια έτη φωτός[5] και βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Ιχθύες. Τον ανακάλυψε ο αστρονόμος Άλμπερτ Μαρτ (Albert Marth) στις 29 Νοεμβρίου 1864[4] και φαίνεται πως αλληλεπιδρά βαρυτικά με τον NGC 7838, με τους δύο γαλαξίες να καταγράφονται στον Άτλαντα των ιδιόμορφων γαλαξιών ως Arp 246.[4]
