Ο NGC 7832 είναι ελλειπτικός γαλαξίας τύπου E5? με ενεργό γαλαξιακό πυρήνα. Βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Ιχθύες και απέχει περίπου 290 εκατομμύρια έτη φωτός το Ηλιακό Σύστημα. Η διάμετρός του υπολογίζεται σε 160.000 έτη φωτός.
Τον ανακάλυψε ο αστρονόμος Ουίλιαμ Χέρσελ στις 20 Σεπτεμβρίου 1784 και ξανά, ανεξάρτητα από αυτόν ο Λιούις Α. Σουίφτ (Lewis A. Swift) στις 12 Σεπτεμβρίου 1896.[1][2][3]
