Ο NGC 7582

Ο NGC 7582 είναι ραβδωτός σπειροειδής γαλαξίας τύπου (R')SB(s)ab ο οποίος βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Γερανό. Απέχει περίπου 75 εκατομμύρια έτη φωτός και έχει διάμετρο 100.000 ετών φωτός. Επίσης έχει φαινόμενο μέγεθος 10,5 και ταξινομείται ως γαλαξίας Σίφερτ-2. Ανήκει μαζί με τους NGC 7552, NGC 7590 και NGC 7599 στο κουαρτέτο του Grus.

Ο αστρονόμος Τζέιμς Ντάνλοπ (James Dunlop) τον ανακάλυψε στις 7 Ιουλίου 1826.[1][2]
