Muzye ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Kasulu in der tansanischen Region Kigoma.

Geografie

Muzye ist ein ländlicher Bezirk in der Seezone im Nordwesten von Tansania. Er liegt südlich der Distrikthauptstadt Kasulu und etwa 50 Kilometer Luftlinie nordöstlich der Regionshauptstadt Kigoma.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 11.961 Menschen in 2257 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 44 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt im Westen an den Distrikt Kasulu (TC) und sonst an drei Bezirke des Distrikts Kasulu:[5]

Infrastruktur

  • Gesundheit: In den Gemeinden Muzye[7] und Mutala[8] liegt je eine staatliche Apotheke.
  • Straße: Durch den Bezirk verläuft die asphaltierte Nationalstraße T19, die die T9 im Nordosten nach Kagera und die T18 im Südwesten nach Tabora verbindet.[9]
