Mulbadaw ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Hanang in der tansanischen Region Manyara.

Geografie

Mulbadaw ist ein Landbezirk im Norden von Tansania. Er liegt rund 35 Kilometer Luftlinie nordwestlich der Distrikthauptstadt Katesh. Im Westen hat der Bezirk Anteil am See Basotu. Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 13.849 Menschen in 2537 Haushalten[2] auf einer Fläche von 229 Quadratkilometern.[3]

Der Bezirk grenzt an fünf Bezirke des Distrikts Hanang:[4]

Gliederung

Der Bezirk besteht aus drei Gemeinden (Swahili Mtaa) und zehn Orten (Swahili Kitongoji):[5]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Es gibt keine weiterführende Schule im Bezirk.[6]
  • Gesundheitseinrichtungen: In der Gemeinde Mulbadaw liegt eine staatliche Ambulanz.[7]
  • Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 3188 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 357 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 711 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 197 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[8]
  • Gebäudenutzung: Von den 229 Gebäuden, die nicht für Wohnzwecke genutzt werden, gehören 63 religiösen Gemeinschaften, sind 60 Geschäftslokale, 38 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen, 32 Lagerhäuser, 19 Gewerbebetriebe, 11 Bürogebäude, 5 Hotels, 2 Gästehäuser und eines ist eine industrielle Anlage (Stand 2022).[9]
