Jorodom ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Hanang in der tansanischen Region Manyara.

Geografie

Jorodom ist ein städtischer Bezirk im Norden von Tansania. Er liegt nördlich der Distrikthauptstadt Katesh. Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 4605 Menschen in 847 Haushalten[1] auf einer Fläche von 49 Quadratkilometern.[2]

Der Bezirk grenzt an sechs Bezirke des Distrikts Hanang, dabei zwei Mal an Dumbeta:[3]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Es gibt keine weiterführende Schule im Bezirk.[4]
  • Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 826 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 76 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 431 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 173 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[5]
  • Gebäudenutzung: Von den 28 Gebäuden, die nicht für Wohnzwecke genutzt werden, gehören 19 religiösen Gemeinschaften, sind 4 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen, 2 Bürogebäude, 2 Gewerbebetriebe und eines ist ein Geschäftslokal (Stand 2022).[6]
