Umgeben wird Anthien von den Nachbargemeinden von Moissy-Moulinot im Nordwesten und Norden, Neuffontaines im Norden und Nordosten, Pouques-Lormes im Nordosten und Osten, Magny-Lormes im Südosten, Corbigny im Süden und Südwesten sowie Ruages im Westen.
