Funkcija

CSRP1 je član CSRP porodice gena koji kodiraju grupu LIM-domenskih proteina, koji mogu biti uključeni u regulatorne procese važne za razvoj i ćelijsku diferencijaciju. LIM/dvostruki motiv cinkovog prsta koji se nalazi u CRP1 nalazi se u grupi proteina s kritičnim funkcijama u regulaciji gena, rastu ćelija i somatskim diferencijacijama. Ostali geni u porodici uključuju CSRP2 i CSRP3.[7]
