Accelerated Graphics Port

AGP se nalazi na matičnoj ploči

Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) je ubrzana sabirnica namijenjena isključivo za grafičke kartice[1] (pošto one inače zahtijevaju veću propusnost podataka) koja se nalazi matičnoj ploči. Napravio ju je Intel zbog sve većih zahtjeva 3D računarskih igara i ostalih zahtjevnih aplikacija, omogućava direktnu komunikaciju između karte i memorije. Od postanka bilo je više revizija AGP[2] standarda:

  • AGP 1x (264 Mb/s)
  • AGP 2x (528 Mb/s)
  • AGP 4x (1 Gb/s)
  • AGP 8x (2 Gb/s)

PCI Express je trenutno standard za novije grafičke kartice.
