Kriobiologi (bahasa Yunani: cryo, "dingin"; bios, "kehidupan"; logos, "ilmu") adalah cabang biologi yang mempelajari pengaruh suhu rendah pada makhluk hidup.[1] Pada praktiknya, kriobiologi mempelajari materi atau sistem biologis pada suhu di bawah normal.[2] Materi atau sistem yang dipelajari antara lain protein, sel, jaringan, organ, serta organisme. Suhu dapat berkisar antara kondisi hipotermia moderat hingga suhu kriogenik.
