Geografia
Situacion
Najac es quilhada sus la riba esquèrra d'un contorn dins los estreits d'Avairon sus una falha geologica. Lo vilatge e lo castèl tresplomban sus un ròc, compausat de sistre, lo riu e la linha Briva - Tolosa.
Najac se trapa sus la D39, a l'oèst del departament d'Avairon, a cinc quilomètres a l'oèst de la D922 que religa Vilafranca de Roergue a Còrdas.
Istòria
- En 1965, la comuna de Vièlavaire (o Vièlavaira) siaguèt incorporada a Najac [6].
