Etimologia
Las Coulx atestat en 1400, poiriá venir de las còuts, de 'còut' mur sens mortièr, referéncia a la preséncia de pèiras e de cauç.
L’alteracion-francizacion del nom en Lascaux es atestada en 1771.[1]
