L'ingosh es parlat dins la Republica d'Ingoshetia e dins la republicas vesinas de Chechenia e d'Ossetia del Nòrd, dins lo Caucàs rus[1].
Classificacion e dialèctes
L'ingosh es classificat dins la familha de las lengas caucasencas del nòrd-èst, ont forma lo grop nakh amb lo chechèn e lo bats. La lenga a pas de dialèctes[1], mas es pròcha del chechèn.
