Gelimer (o Geilamir) foguèt lo darrièr rei vandal d'Africa que regnèt de 530 a 534[1]. Succediguèt a Ilderic.
Fin del reialme vandal
La politica d'ilderic qu'establís de relacions amb l'emperaire de Constantinòble, es regetada per una part dels vandals. En 530, Gelimer prend de fòrça lo poder. Justininan Ièr se ne profechèt per enviar son armada atacar Gelimer, presentat coma un usurpator. En 534 Gelimer es capturat per Belisari. Es la fin del reialme vandal[2]. Gelimer acabat sa vita dins lo tenement de Galacia que l'emperaire li aviá donat.
