Alaug (pr. [a'law]; Allauch en francés) es una comuna provençala, situada dins lo departament dei Bocas de Ròse e la region de Provença-Aups-Còsta d'Azur.
Etimologia
Lo toponim latin Villa Allaudii es atestat en 1032, probablement en referéncia a un proprietari nommat Alaudis. Puèi se trapa forma ja occitana Alaug dins una carta municipala de 1216, d'autres tèxtes ancians mencionan Alauc.
