Timina (T, Thy) merupakan salah satu daripada bes nitrogen dalam DNA, selain daripada adenina, guanina dan sitosina. Dalam RNA, timina digantikan dengan bes urasil. Timina juga dikenali sebagai 5-metilurasil dan merupakan terbitan pirimidina. Timina boleh terurai menjadi hidantoin selepas kematian organisma.[1]
