SMILES (simplified molecular-input line-entry system, "sistem entri barisan input molekul dipermudah") ialah sejenis spesifikasi dalam bentuk notasi garisan untuk menerangkan struktur spesies kimia menggunakan rentetan ASCII yang pendek. Rentetan SMILES dapat diimport oleh kebanyakan editor molekul untuk ditukarkan kembali kepada bentuk lukisan dua dimensi atau model molekul tiga dimensi.

Spesifikasi SMILES yang asal dimulakan pada tahun 1980-an,[1] dan sejak itu telah diubah dan diluaskan. Pada 2007, sebuah sistem piawaian terbuka bernama OpenSMILES telah dikembangkan dalam komuniti kimia sumber terbuka. Notasi linear lain termasuk notasi garis Wiswesser (WLN), ROSDAL dan Notasi Garis SYBYL (SLN).
