Safran adalah kumpulan perindustrian dan teknologi Perancis yang besar, hadir di peringkat antarabangsa dalam bidang aeronautik, ruang dan pertahanan. Ia dicipta pada tahun 2005 semasa penggabungan antara Snecma dan Sagem[1]. Sejak September 2011, ia telah disenaraikan di CAC 40[2].
Perniagaannya adalah reka bentuk dan pengeluaran mesin pesawat terbang, helikopter dan roket, peralatan aeronautik, dan pertahanan.
Selepas penyerapan Zodiac Aerospace pada tahun 2018, kumpulan ini mempunyai lebih daripada 81,000 pekerja pada akhir September 2020.
