Prostat (daripada προστάτης, prostates, bahasa Yunani secara harfiah "yang berdiri sebelumnya", "pelindung", "pengawal"[1]) ialah kelenjar eksokrin tubuloalveolus sebatian bagi sistem pembiakan jantan pada kebanyakan mamalia.[2][3] Prostat agak berlainan pada spesies berlainan secara anatomi, kimia, dan fisiologi.
