Arteri
Arteri merujuk kepada saluran darah berotot yang membawa darah keluar dari jantung.[1] Semua arteri, dengan pengecualian arteri pulmonari dan arteri umbilikal, membawa darah beroksigen.
Arteri merupakan komponen utama sistem peredaran yang penting bagi benda hidup. Ia berfungsi menghantar oksigen dan nutrien kepada semua sel, dan juga untuk menyingkirkan karbon dioksida serta bahan buangan daripada tubuh badan.
