Note on unnumbered subtropical systems (the JTWC marks them as areas of convection with a potential for tropical cyclogenesis): Subtropical Depression 92W is an unofficial JTWC subtropical depression and the JTWC does not issue any official warnings, so it is not part of the detailed systems. Occasionally, the JTWC will track and label a subtropical cyclone if they are able to transition the cool core of a subtropical system to a warm core consistent with tropical characteristics. Otherwise, a system that has winds >35 kts of a tropical storm but is no longer capable of transitioning to tropical status will be simply circled as an area of convection. I was following the disturbance and it just persisted over the Northern Territory for days. You can follow it here if you step through the days. This is not uncommon in the Australian region, tropical lows will persist over land and even become weak tropical storms. A recent example is TC Ellie (2022-23).

You should've requested to move the draft then. The reason why it's important is to preserve the edit history. Please stop changing storm dates on the 2025–26 Australian region cyclone season page. The dates that I've added come from the BOM database. The storm's ex-tropical cyclone phase should still be counted as part of its lifespan, as the BOM still considers them tropical lows (per their own database). It means it no longer meets the requirements to be considered a tropical cyclone (such as no longer having gales) - however, in practice, it's equivalent to tropical low status and doesn't mean the system itself isn't tropical.
