Google Balls is a 2010 Google Doodle that first debuted on the Google Search webpage on September 7th of the same year. It displays the Google logo with multicolored balls that can be dispersed with the cursor.[1] The Doodle would be later revived by GitHub user Weeniemount on on October 4th, 2025.[2][3]
On January 2026, a hashtag "#googleballs" started trending on the social media platform Bluesky, making a fan account made in reference to the Doodle gain over one thousand followers in 24 hours,[4] and becoming the 6th fastest growing account on January 6th, 2026. [5]
Google Balls and its Bluesky account currently have an active fanbase that is working on fanarts, edits and memes.[citation needed]
