Isale ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Nkasi in der tansanischen Region Rukwa.

Geografie

Isale ist ein Bezirk im Westen des südlichen Hochlands von Tansania, er liegt etwa 70 Kilometer Luftlinie nordwestlich der Regionshauptstadt Sumbawanga.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 14.428 Menschen in 2542 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 323 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt an sechs Bezirke des Distrikts Nkasi:[5]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Im Bezirk liegen zwei weiterführende Schulen.[7] Die Isale Secondary School[8] und die Ntuchi Secondary School[9] sind beide staatliche Schulen mit einer Ausbildung für Burschen und Mädchen bis zur 4. Stufe.
  • Gesundheit: In Isale liegen zwei staatliche Apotheken.[10][11]
