ZNF263
Cinkoprstni protein 263 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom ZNF263.[5] Gross (2014) mapirao je gen ZNF263 na hromosomu 16, sekvenca p13.3, na osnovu poravnanja sekvence ZNF263 (GenBank BC008805) sa genomskom sekvencom (GRCh37).[6]

Kloniranje i ekspresija
Sekvenciranjem cDNK nasumično odabranim iz biblioteke cDNK generirane iz granulocitoidnih ćelija koje su izvedene iz ćelijske linije 60 ljudske promijelocitne leukemije (HL60), Okubo et al. (1995) identificirali su djilomične cDNK koje predstavljaju nekoliko novih gena. Koristeći jednu od ovih cDNK, Yokoyama et al. (1997) izolirali su cDNK pune dužine koja kodira ZNF263, a koju su nazvali FPM315. Izvedeni protein od 683 aminokiseline sadrži devet C-terminalnih domena cinkovog prsta tipa C2H2, od kojih su neki povezani H/C vezama. Tu su i CRAB-kutija koja je u drugim ZNF-ima pokazala da djeluje kao represijski transkripcijski domen i N-terminalna regija bogata leucinom (LeR) koja je također bogata glutaminskim kiselinama, i visoko je konzervirana u podskupini ZNF-ova, a predviđa se da sadrži dva alfa-heliksa. Northern blot analizom otkrivena su glavna transkripta od približno 3,4 i 3,8 kb. ZNF263 je eksprimiran u svim ispitivanim ljudskim tkivima fetusa i odraslih.[8][9]
