KIAA0644, znan i kao TRIL ili interaktor TLR4 sa leucinski bogatim ponavljanjima, jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom KIAA0644.[5]
Aminokiselinska sekvenca
Dužina polipeptidnog lanca je 811 aminokiselina, а molekulska težina 88.723 Da.[6] Sastoji se prvenstveno od ostataka leucina (17%), alanina i arginina (~ 10%) i glicina (~ 8,5%). Predviđa se da se proteinska sekvenca sastoji uglavnom od α-heliksa i nekoliko β-listova

Gensko susjedstvo
Gen KIAA0644 susjedi je sa genom za vezanje elemenata koji reagiraju na iRNK–cAMP nizvodno i genom za karboksipeptidaznu iRNK i serin-karboksipeptidazu uzvodno.[7][8]
Funkcija
Tačna funkcija KIAA0644 nije poznata. Međutim, član je porodice proteina leucinom bogatog ponavljanja, za koje je poznato da su uključeni u interakcije protein-protein. Poznato je da ovaj protein stupa u interakciju s proteinom TLR4.
TRIL je komponenta kompleksa TLR4 i u brojnim tipovima ćelija induciran je lipopolisaharidom (LPS).[9]
Homologija
KIAA0644 dobro je konzerviran među sisarima, ali se može naći u svim hordatima s nižim identitetom sekvence.
