Funkcija

U nekim nelimfoidnim tkivima, eksprimiren je needitirani receptor T-ćelija gama (TRG@). Rezultirajući transkript sadrži podskup segmenata gena TRG@ i kraći je od transkripata TRG@ eksprimiranih u limfoidnim tkivima.

Ovaj RefSeq zapis predstavlja neuređen transkript lokusa TRG@; kompletan TRG@ lokus predstavljen je genomskim RefSeq NG_001336. Transkript predstavljen ovim RefSeqom ima dva otvorena okvira čitanja (ORF) koji kodiraju različite proteine. Nizvodni ORF nalazi se u istom okviru kao i TRG@, a njegov proteinski proizvod sličan je TRG@ proteinima. Uzvodni ORF koristi drugačiji okvir čitanja i kodira novi protein.^[3]
