SART1
U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP-pridruženi protein 1 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom SART1.[5][6]
Ovaj gen kodira dva proteina, protein SART1 (800) eksprimiran u u jedru većine ćelija koje se razmnožavaju i protein SART1 (259) u citosolu epitelnog karcinoma. SART1 (259) protein prevodi se mehanizmom-1 pomjeranja okvira tokom posttranskripcijske regulacije. Smatra se da su dva kodirana proteina uključena u regulaciju proliferacije. Oba proteina imaju odbacivanje tumorskih antigena. Protein SART1 (259) ima tumorski epitop koji je sposoban inducirati HLA-A24 02 ograničene citotoksične T-limfocite u pacijenata s rakom. Ovaj SART1 (259) antigen može biti koristan u specifičnoj imunoterapiji za oboljele od raka i može poslužiti kao paradigmatski alat za dijagnostiku i liječenje pacijenata sa atopijom. Utvrđeno je da je protein SART1 (259) bitan za regrutiranje tri-snRNP u presplajsosomu na putunjegovog sklapanja.[6]
