RNF34
E3 ubikvitin-proteinska ligaza RNF34 je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom RNF34.[5][6]
Protein kodiran ovim genom sadrži RINF prst, motiv za koji se zna da je uključen u interakcije protein-protein i protein-DNK. Ovaj protein stupa u interakciju s DNAJA3/hTid-1, koji je protein DnaJ, za koji se izvještava da funkcionira kao modulator apoptoze. Pokazalo se da pretjerana ekspresija ovog gena u HeLa ćelijama daje otpornost na apoptozu induciranu TNF-alfa, što ukazuje na anti-apoptotičku funkciju ovog proteina. Ovaj protein se može cijepati kaspazom-3 tokom indukcije apoptoze. Prijavljene su i alternativno prerađene varijante transkripta koje kodiraju različite izoforme.[6]
