Funkcija
Ovaj gen kodira višeprolazni membranski protein s domenom glavni protein sperme (MSP). Delecija sličnog mišjeg gena povezano je s defektnim srčanim razvojem i neonatusnom smrtnošću. Opisane su alternativno prerađene transkripcijske varijante , koje kodiraju različite izoforme.
