LSM6
U6 snRNK-pridruženi Sm-liki protein LSm6 jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom LSM6 sa hromosoma 4.[5][6][7]
Proteini slični Sm identificirani su u različitim organizmima na osnovu homologije sa proteinima porodice Sm (vidi SNRPD2; MIM 601061). Sm-slični proteini sadrže motiv Sm sekvence, koji se sastoji od dvije regije razdvojene linkerom varijabilne dužine koji se savija kao petlja.

Funkcija
Smatra se da proteini slični Sm formiraju stabilan heterodimer prisutan u česticama tri-snRNP, koje su važne za preradu pre-iRNK (prema OMIM).[7]
