CDIPT
CDP–diacilglicerol–inozitol 3–fosfatidiltransferaza jest enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom CDIPT.[5][6]
Proizvodi razgradnje fosfatidilinozitola su sveprisutni drugi glasnici, koji funkcionišu nizvodno od višestruko vezanih G-proteinskih receptora i tirozin-kinaza koji reguliraju rast ćelija, metabolizam kalcija i aktivnost protein-kinaza C. Dva enzima, CDP-diacilglicerol sintaza i fosfatidilinositol sintaza, uključeni su u biosintezu fosfatidilinozitola. Fosfatidilinozitol sintaza, član porodice CDP-alkohol fosfatidil transferaza klase I, integralni je membranski protein koji se nalazi na citoplazmatskoj strani endoplazmatskog retikuluma i Golgijevog aparata.[6]
