Funkcija

Angiomotin je protein koji veže angiostatin, cirkulirajući inhibitor stvaranja novih krvnih sudova (angiogeneza). Angiomotin posreduje angiostatinom u inhibiciji migracije endotelnih ćelija i formiranja mikrotubula in vitro. Protein koji je kodiran ovim genom povezan je s angiomotinom i član je porodice proteinskih motina.[5]
